Be It Remembered, That at a Court of Common Pleas held at Allentown, in and for the County of Lehigh, on the Ninth day of August A.D. 1880 the day appointed by the Court for that purpose, Proclamation having been made, came Thomas B. Morgan High Sheriff of said county, and acknowledged in open Court, a Deed Poll, conveying to James Hess, James W. Wilson, Alex. Wilson and John Pollock for consideration of the sum of thirty seven thousand nine hundred dollars.

No 1 All that certain lot or piece or parcel of ground situated in the Borough of Slatington at the corner of Dowell Street and Long Alley thence extending along said Dowell Street forty feet to an angle thence parallel to Long Alley one hundred and fifty feet to an angle thence parallel to Dowell Street for forty feet to Long Alley thence west by Long Alley one hundred and fifty feet to Dowell Street the place of beginning.

No. 2 All that certain track or piece of slate land situated lying and being in the Borough of Slatington Lehigh County Bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at a post in a line of land of Michael Remaley thence extending along the same north 87 degrees east one hundred and six (106) feet to a post thence by lands of the said The Lehigh Slate Company north seventeen degrees east three hundred and eighty (380) feet to a post thence by land of George Kern south seventy seven degrees west one hundred and sixty-four (164) feet to a stone thence south fourteen degrees west three hundred and eleven feet (311) to the place of beginning. Containing one acre and four perches strict measure.
