Title A name given to the resource Slatington High School (aka Lincoln Building), 1897 Description An account of the resource The new high school, located on Kuntz Street, was dedicated with great festivity on Saturday, 23 October 1897. The building was designed by the Philadelphia architect, Seymour Davis (1869-1923). He also designed Allentown Hospital, Carnegie Library at Penn State, and numerous other schools. Eight+ rooms in the building, constructed at a total cost of $17,625. The site is now occupied by the George Dillard Manor (425 Kuntz Street), public housing apartments for those over age 62.
