Formerly located on the northwest corner of Walnut and Main Streets in the lower part of Slatington. This majestic building was one of several hotels in Slatington in the nineteenth century, and yes, once there were trees along the streets in town.
The very prominent Baptist church is shown here. This was part of a small booklet of photos, Souvenir of Slatington Penna. and Vicinity, sold by Jones Bros & Miller. These photos also appeared as regular, individual postcards.
