Scripto

Scripto is an online tool for crowd-sourcing a transcription of a historical document. I suggest that you quickly read all of these instructions before proceeding.

Login using the username and password assigned to you.
You will see documents available for transcribing. If you click on the watchlist, then you will see a history list of the edits of documents available for transcribing.
The document will appear with transcription below, Click edit to be begin adding to the transcription. I recommend that you right click on the document so that it is in a different window. That makes it easier for you to enlarge/zoom.
When you are done, click the edit transcription button to save.
You can logout then.
